When Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's relationship came crashing down, we all assumed that Sel ~despised~ Justin.
Well, it's not so much that we assumed, and moreso that we had proof from that time when the 24-year-old told David Letterman that she made Justin cry and of course her hard-hitting songs that are rumoured to be about him like 'The Heart Wants What It Wants' and 'Sober'.
Justin has also been largely credited as the reason behind Sel's breakdown last year.
But despite Selena recently entering a new relationship with The Weeknd and the fact that Justin has publicly dissed her bae and dragged her name through the mud, claiming that she is "using" the 26-year-old, Sel is STILL seeking Justin's approval.
She "would love to get the blessing of Justin to fully move on," an insider told HollywoodLife.com.
Selena was reportedly devo'd to hear that the 'Sorry' singer isn't a fan of her new boyfriend.
"She is going to be very disappointed when she learns about Justin's recent shade," the source continued. "He can still really get to her emotionally."

"Selena is having a blast with The Weeknd," an insider said. The pair have been acting "like a couple."
But although she's really happy with the 'Starboy' singer, it looks like Sel is still seeking approval from her former flame.
Jelena may feel like ancient history to us, but it still appears to be all too raw for Selena.
We can't help but wonder how Justin will feel to hear that his ex is seeking his "blessing".
Something tells us that the Biebs isn't the "blessing"-giving type.
