ONE Direction singer Louis Tomlinson has had his bottom insured for $160,00 (£100,000).
Band colleague Harry Styles let slip about the bizarre move during rehearsals for their tour, website dailystar reported.
Insurance agents had to assess his backside's value but Louis is tight-lipped on whether they closely inspected it.
"Louis has insured his bum just like J.Lo. We support him and so does his family," Harry, 18, revealed:.
The One Direction's five boys are as likely to pick up an injury from their fans as much as their own actions.
They have been mobbed by women around the world and their bodyguards are struggling to control the screaming girls.
"Some would call our fans crazy, but we feel they are passionate. They do like to touch us and feel us, and it is a bit strange. Some of the lads have been touched in some unusual places," said Louis, 20.
"Our bodyguards can only do so much. No-one has sustained any injuries yet, but you never can be too careful."
Zayn Malik, 19, added: "Sometimes passion can come across as something different."
Liam Payne, 18, revealed that even though the five singers are the biggest band in pop at the moment, his father is clueless about their fame.
"My dad came with us on the road in New York and we couldn’t get out of the hotel," he said.
"He was like: 'Go on, we will just go out of the front door', but I explained we can’t do that anymore, we would get mobbed."
